hoojchoons:
Believe me man, i would do that if someone here could understand Greek. Seriously now, since English is not my primary language, I find it really hard sometimes to express my opinions :( .

The thory of .net technology has been possible with X11 in years (The gui not me) as it can run apps remotely. I have Deskview/X which is X11 for dos and i can run apps on it that are executing on my server. Its not exacly scary but it has been possible wih Unix for a long time. Microsoft once again copyed. Unix was made for:
*1000's of users on terminals on 1 mainframe
this saves lots of money.
*Internetworking... The ability to link with other machines
*Clustering
*Remote Applications
Also Novell have a simlar thing too.
Heru:
Yep. Linux started out as a Terminal program that Linus used to run apps and connect to the internet through the server at his University.
Ms has a nasty habit of copying other people's innovations and twisting them and then claining them as their own. Clear Type font display is a recent example: In the early 1980's Apple computing came up with a technology to let fonts look better on LCD and flat screens; in the late 1990's MS grabbed this and renamed it Clear Type and they claim to have invented it; Apple's inovation stolen by MS.
