XBOX Emulator
SpeeDFreaK:
Yeah, it's late but don't diss the Virtual Boy! That thing would have been the shit if they had developed more for it.
Anyways...
I don't think that emulating the xbox would mean MS Games' death. It may actually breathe life into them because some of the games that the xbox has aren't that bad. And if they're emulated, then that's that many more system that MS can target for their games. And if I remember correctly, they make most of their money from the games.
Lazygamer:
The gamecube may not be emulated anytime too soon except for people who own Macs, since it's a PPC based system. Even then, you'll have to get past the copy-protection.

/Imagines the day that X-box is emulated:
MES HARDCORE MEMBER:ARGGGH NO! DON'T PIR8 THOSE X-BOX GAMES AND USE THAT X-BOX EMULATOR! YOUR JUST HELPING TO KEEP MS ALIVE! ;)
I get the feeling that there is a huge amount of people who realize X-box sucks for one reason or another(but don't quite get the message about MS/Windows). Because of this, X-box emulators will probably progress slower than normal.
billy_gates:
my xbox has jammed up twice. No blue screen, it has a more OS 9 type of Jam up. Justs stops, everything stops and u push eject and it resets.
hm_murdock:
I think the problem with emulating the cube and PS2 is that they both run PPC processors.
an XBox emulator seems fairly simple once someone figures out the XBox API. remember, the XBox runs standard NT binaries via a new API layer. Rumors persist that Longhorn will include a subset of the XBox APIs so that publishers can make badass games.
Pissed_Macman:
I played X box for the first time last week when my friends slaughtered me repeatedly at halo for twelve hours straight. Every time I lost I'd go into a coughing fit and I eventually got a bloody nose I was so frustrated. It was great.
