About 2 weeks ago I got my copy of mandrake linux 9.1. It rocks and I want to use it more often but there are some things which mean I sometimes have to use windows.
I have some games which were designed for windows. Is there a free product which allows me to play these games in linux. Don't say wine because it sucks.
And that's about it. Can you people help me.

Any emulator sucks. That's it. Especially treating windows games - direct hardware access, semi-closed API, using windows bug-features, so there's nothing to expect. Play Linux games or keep dual-booting.
Anyway emulators is a BAD thing.

In case you are wondering, the games I am referring to are GTA3, GTA Vice City, UT2003, Sim city 4, Desperados...
TheQuirk:
I belive UT2k3 has a Linux port right on the CD--search google. As for the other games, VMWare may be your ticket (if your computer is powerful enough).

The UT2K3 linux port is only for the server version of UT2003. So I can run a server on my linux box but cant play the game.
And Is VMWare free? If it isn't then I'll just have to download a copy using kazaa lite.
