IF we could just get more people in linux box's then maybe people would make games for Linux ?
Anyways this is another problem that os ten is having. However i don't think the people who invent these operating systems play many games.

This is a list of the games I play natively on my linux box. UT2003, RTCW, Enemy Territory, Quake3. The next is a list of games I play using wineX 3.1 Max Payne, SimCity 4, WarCraft III, Diablo 2, and Hoyle Casino. Not bad for linux huh.

just curious, but what specs do you got? how well do they run?

Try out a Super Nintendo, Nintendo, Genesis, Sega Master System, Gameboy, and perhaps Playstation 1, Nintendo 64, and Gameboy Advance emulator, than come back here and tell me emulators suck. ;)
Ok emulating an OS just to run programs is different for sure, but the point is that I'm challenging the idea that an emulator is guranteed to be greatly inferior to the real thing.

My computer is a 2.2 ghz Celeron with 512 mb of DDR. For grahics I run a GeforceFX 5200. Everything runs great, even the resource hog ut2003.
