Hello all!!
I have just installed redhat and dumped windows. I am using konqueror for file manager (like windows explorer). In windows, there was an option where you can "map" a specific network location, and browse the files on that url like if it were locally.
now, how can I do that on linux. I can't find any option in konqueror; I'm using redhat WS.
thanks a lot!
skyman8081:
you should be able to mount it to a specific directory using the mount command, but refer to your distro's documentation for exact instructions.

If you are talking about windows-based network shares, check out the smbmount command.
