He's black and white and fluffy, Tux is his name,
He is the Linux penguin, and he thinks Bill Gates is lame.
He gives us redhat, suse and all the rest,
We all know Linux is the very best OS.
Linux's creator Linus Torvalds is real cool,
While we all know Bill Gates is just a stupid fool
So choose Linux and not Windows, it doesn't cost a dime,
And just you remember my tiny friend Tux, soon Linux will be in it's prime.

ok x11, calm down. i agree you should support your distro (im making one for gods sake) i am just saying that linux is free, you don't have to pay absurd amounts of money just to try something. why would i pay for something if ive never used it? i downloaded slack 8.0, my only intro to linux.
my point is if in some gay unrealistic world windows was better than linux but linux had a bigger marketshare then windows i would probably never try windows because it would cost too much for me to care about. i would NOT buy it unless i saw it working.
so calm the heck down x11, chrikey bite my head off why doncha    :confused:

ahem, i know! i was only stating that i wouldve never bought linux until i knew that it was good. (oh wait i did buy linux but that was corel linux, like 4 years before i got into linux). i absolutely know that its free like freedom, and im GNU forever. and i didnt write the poem so dont yell at me because you have a strict idea of linux: that no one should get it for free. hey doesnt that kinda break the freedom argument?? the only reason i posted this poem was because i thought it was really cool and i wanted to share it (NOTE SHARE AS IN GO AHEAD AND USE IT FOR WHATEVER THE FUCK YOU WANT) with you. instead this thread turns into a pointless argument about what free means. crickey (thats the second time ive used that word on this thread i need a new word). ill make sure to be more conservative here on FUCKmicrosoft.com.
