Hmmm, let's see.  One exploit every 5 years compared to 1 exploit every 1 week.  Yeah, I would say it's more secure than Windows...
Someone please remove this account. Thanks...

XP user, you just made yourself look foolish. First of all the bug was found on June 18th, and thanks to the quick work of the people at apache, it was fixed the next day, and new releases of apache were released. If MS had been handling a similar problem with IIS, information about the bug would have been released now, and MS would release its patch in a few weeks. Just because a bug is found in open source software doesnt mean that it sucks. It was fixed quickly, which is one thing that I can't say about MS bugs. As for the new worm, it isnt even a problem if people update their servers.

average bug fix time for open source projects :

a few days, tops (usually one day)

average bug fix time for m$ products:

a few weeks after they announce it (a few months after the first discovery usually)

Guess what dickhead XP luser, the difference between this and the holes in IIS, is that Apache drops all of it's privs as soon as it starts up and IIS runs as administrator or localsystem.  When apache is hacked the os in invulnerable, only web pages can be fucked with(unless the admin set it up wrong).  When IIS is hacked the entire system is compromised, that is the reason nimda would wipe your entire server out.

Get a fucking clue before you start BS topics.
