ok i have beeen reading the post for a while now and have enjoyed what i have learned. i plan on trying to post more often now. ok so here is my question. how do i find out what my ip address is in linux. i am running suse 8.0 professional on a wireless network. i am a newbie so i was wondering if u guys could help me with this and also if u have any info on wireless networks with pci cards that info would be appreciated to
you know its a bad day when you look more sober then usual

For local IP, go into command prompt and type in
$ netstat

and it will be under "Local Address"
