Which irc script do you guys use?
I use XChat but the damn script won't let me connect to Efnet, I always get an error message related to "unknown user".
Quakenet and Dalnet are fine but some of my favorite channels are on Efnet and it's starting to bug me having to reboot in Windows every time I want to go on Efnet
Plus I can't seem to get DCC working in XChat, I can receive files but can't send.
Chacked the ports and stuff, compared the settings to those of mIRC in Wondows, as far as I can tell everything is the same.

I've tried Ksirc but I don't like the interface, should I download and install BitchX?

I use xchat and can connect to efnet just fine. Didn't try doing a DCC send yet, and not likely to do so with my 128Kbit upload
If you can't learn to do something well, learn to enjoy doing it poorly.
