Very interesting article. Which at the end of the day speaks some plain facts, which proponents of M$ twisted, so called OS and world view can argue for all they like. It still don't change the facts my friends.

Calling them screwheads isnt going to help, the people who are afraid of Linux know nothing about this. See things from there point of view and tell them about Linux and get them to try it.

The ones that support Windows are screwheads.

Linux is pretty good at warding off Viruses, and has never had that many, and never that many that have done somthing.

Windows has had many viruses, and time and time again it has been hit by them.

One key reason why Windows is never going to be that well at warding off Virueses is Microsoft reluctance to change. Windows 3.1 was an extension to DOS, an Operating system designed for Standalone desktops, definatly not modern Internet Applications. Dos does not have any security at all.

Windows 9x was still made around an Insecure basis which gave it terrible security.

And now your saying "But Windows 9x is dead", but Windows NT, 2000, XP have all been made in the image of 9x. Microsoft know that if they add to many security features that the system will become to different to what they are used to and they will hear rumors and never switch.

Microsoft put Marketing in front of Security.
