I know that NetMD is not the greatest of portable music devices (sony's minidisk), but i was wondering if anyone has written a program for writing music files to my NetMD player on linux?

There have been alot of 'tricks' to get files on there, like using wine, and then the windows application, (only works sometimes) or tricking Nautilus into burning music to the minidisc player by declaring it a CDBurner (ruins the disc), but what i want is something like GNOME toaster for NETMD Minidisk.

Is there such an app?

Their are many projects for this.
Debian even has binaries for it.
It's still in beta thow.

The main problem is Sony.
They could sue them.

PS: Google for something like 'openMD' or 'XMD' and many more...
