Linux Mandrake - Settings problem
« on: 7 September 2002, 18:11 »
I'm using Galeon (the Gnome browser) right now and it seems everytime I change the preferences in settings, then close and restart Galeon,  everything is back to default. What the heck is wrong?

Also - is there another way to mount my cdrom, other than using the terminal command : mount /mnt/cdrom?
like automounting?

AND - what's the most popular browser?

i'm not sure about the Galeon problem, maybe post some more details (version, for example), but for the other two --

automounting: http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/mini/Automount.html

The most popular browser on Linux is Mozilla, altrhough I prefer Opera.

By the way, there was no reason to diss us in that other thread. We're not tech support, and you sure as hell don't pay us. You should be thankful for any responses.
