Free Shell access?

I was going to ask for a good way to get a free shell account, but i think i can get one at Grex, i also found this list and was recommended this link but the first seems to be a lot of exclusive shells (australians only, programmers only, us citizens only et c) and the second is a page written in slovenian or something!
Anyway, i am not only a novice at telnet/shell access, but a total drooling neanderthal. Any comments to post here for the new from anybody that can be bothered?

i am telnetting from windows though, as my linux is incompatible with my modem, until i upgrade to 2.4.
Again, not a question, but so cool i had to post!
