USB & ark

Hi.

I've got a compaq box running linux now, and i 've got this digital camera that runs on my usb.
Every time i want to shutdown the box, it disconnects device 1, then disconnects divice 2, and then crashes. Totally.
Can anyone help me ?

And second, where can i download ark for KDE 2 ?

hmmmm, interesting. have you tried taking the machine down without having the cam pluged into the usb.
