i know that is compatible with ieee1394 or firewire i.link or whatever the hell you want to call it. what i want to know is is it compatible with linux. cuase im really thinking about buying an audigy soundcard to replace the current soundcard

I havent really tried any firewire with my setup, but check out this site, you might find the help you need.
