Ok ive got two days, gimmy a distro

ok ive got 600megs left of download for the next 2 or so days on ADSL im hopin to download a ~200-~300 meg distro to whack on an old pentium 90 with 32 megs of RAM or i can download now and wait a few weeks and ill have a nice p2-266 to install on, either way i need distro suggestions. thanks alot

You might want to try Debian. I used a network installation. All you need is 2 floppies. I needed about 800mb free space and all I had to download was 250-300mb. And that was for a desktop installation.

You might want to check it out.

Evil Entity is based on slackware, its only 450Mb (i'm pretty sure)

well isn't zipslack designed specifically to use on a fat partition? you need real slackware to do it on ext2 don't you? maybe evil entity would be best like the man said.

You don't have to have fat, because I heared of people installing a distro fromZipSlack (e.g they install ZipSlack ad then addon packages, etc.)

whats with the 600meg limit ive hit atleast 3.5 gig's in a months, and that is being very conservitive

its australia, its telstra. we get a 3 gig limit and weve used lots but we wanna get right up near the boundary to make the most of our limit.
