Bizarre Linux distros

Anyone know of any Linux distros that aren't mainstream, but do some very amazing and unique things amongst distros/OS's, OR have a unique GUI.

Evil Entity
I am waiting for version 0.3 to come out before i get it, I might try it again soon though because i know a lot more about Linux then i did when i first tried Evil Entity.

Sorcerer linux. It compiles every single package durning the install, and has a totally-original packaging system.

Something seems interesting about that EvilEntity GUI, does it really pwn KDE and GNOME once you get used to it? I know Evil Entity claims to be very powerful, stable, and lean, but something that is version "0.3" sounds rather new and in-experienced to me. How does it stack up to RH8?
