Waarom zijn sommige mensen zo ongelofelijk dom?    :(

[EDIT]OK, OK... it's because that would be copying Apple.

Such a campain would also have to aim at one Linux distribution, witch can be unfair to other distributions...

There are also better ways to spend money than on commercials.[/EDIT]

Linux speaks for itself. It does not need adverts. I had never seen a commercial for Linux, before I converted, and it has an estimated what 2%+ of the market, wihtout mojor advertising campaigns. That is better than Apple or M$ had achieved without major commercial reinforcement. Linux will climb and climb and eat up M$ workstations. I Got another potential today. Where do you want to go today? - LINUX. I downloaded Mandrake 9.0, because I need two more copies for converts who only have 56k

I rarely see commericals that are computer related(because I only get 2 channels). Recently I've seen Apple's campaign on TV. Today I overheard a MSN advertisement, suddenly I was like(in my head) "ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!".  :D
For every hot Lesbian you see in a porno video, there is a fat, butch-like, or just downright ugly lesbian beeyotch marching in a gay pride parade, or bitching about same sex marriages. -Lazygamer on homosexuality

I may just be a little confused, but could you elaborate. How can ya tell how MS or Apple is doing w/out ads, since they both most certainly advertise.

this one isn't quite so funny, it's more like a normal switch ad:

Your ADSL will work if you have a supported network card, which you mostly likely have.
