hmmmmmmm... well there was a thunderstorm here, then it left, then 'bout 30 minutes later i turned on my computers and then the power went out.
Now my server wont start into RH7.3, luckily i also have a separate hard drive in it with RH7.2 but it doesn have my squid or httpd on it.
It gives me these errors when i try to boot it:
init: cant execute "/etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit"
init: entering runlevel: 3
init: cant execute "/etc/rc.d/rc"
init: open (/dev/console): input/output error
init: id "2" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
init: id "3" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
init: id "4" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes.
init: id "1" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
I went into my other OS on the same computer and i could mount the harddrive with the above OS and see all the files. Then i ran fsck on it and it said that it couldnt read the superblock and told me to try running 'e2fsck -b 8193' (or something close to that) and that gave me the exact same error message.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this or am i gonna have to re-install redhat (or maybe smoothwall)???
