Well Mandrake 9.1 has non-destructive ntfs partition resizing. That meant that I could finally use Mandrake in a dual boot setup on my XP box without third party software. It works great too. The installer is totally revamped. This is the first major change in the installer since I started using mandrake at 7.2. If you run a webserver, Mandrake comes default with Apache 2.0.44, however if you still use the 1.3 series, 1.3.27 is included as well. Mozilla 1.3 is included, which is a huge improvement over 1.0 because of antialiased fonts. The new Mandrake galaxy theme is pretty good, I especially like the icons. Kde 3.1 I think fixes a lot of the bugs in kde 3.0. Its not too huge a change from 9.0, however keep in mind that Mandrake, like Redhat, only will keep providing updates for one year. You might be cool until Mandrake 9.2 hits the shelves.
