I dont get an option or anything, i typed in at the shell:
xine
and that was what came out, how would i go about disabling the sound?

I got it working with: xine --audio-driver esd but now it wont start the dvd

Aw, I see the problem:
There is no available input plugin available to handle 'xine-ui version 0.9.8'.

Nothing, it just gives me that error when i click play. I've settled the problem though, got ogle, works great (except the full screen sucks).
