Java interpreter disabled
« on: 31 August 2002, 22:18 »
I've just tried to join a chatroom and the applet wouldn't load and returned the message that the Java interpretation agent is disabled.

What does this mean and how do I enable the agent?

Sorry if this is a dumb Q but I'm not that savvy on the tech side of this.

Cheers for any help

(oh yes, I'm using RH7.3 and KDE desktop if thats anyhelp)

do you actually have Sun Microsystems' Java Runtime Environment 2 installed? if not, go and get it from http://java.sun.com/j2se/downloads.html or search for it on google (i say that because i didn't actually check the page to see if it had the most recent version and so on.)
