Ok two things.

A)Is it possible to have e-mails that are trackable just by code in the e-mail? I say no, so I would use this logic, no matter how flawed, to dismiss this already. If not, then see B.

B)My philosphy is that you shoulden't be highly skeptical, highly skeptical is for morons(not calling you one btw). Real l33t d00dz regard 100%(not 99.9% or 99.8% but ONE ZERO ZERO) of e-mail not from their allies(read:friends) or automated data transponder subscriptions(read:mailing lists/newsletters you joined) as absolute shit that goes in the garbage can.

i got that exact email a year and a half ago. I am sad to see that it has been passed on by gullible people all that time and has not been righteously squished into roadkill by the barrage of much more worthy electronic data coursing along the information superhighway.

That's an ancient e-mail that has been doing the rounds for a couple of years. I find it interesting that anyone would consider it (even momentarily) a genuine proposition. Working in an IT department, I get users asking me what to do with e-mail chain letters. I tell them to delete it and respond to the sender asking them not forward any such e-mail again. The number of people who believe that bad luck will befall them for not forwarding it is strange. So the next thing I know is that I get the fucking things forward to me. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE ?!

my whole point to this post, was that its obviously b*llshit. In the letter it talks bout it was on the News. f*ck the news, CNN is the only real news that dont f*ckin lie. and now that you see other people have seen it years ago, thats just more proof why its not real. the letters says only for 2 weeks.

p.s. nothing against the people who dont think its bull. but id NEVER!

The first thing you should do when you get an email like this that you are suspicious about is to go to http://www.urbanlegends.com/ and search for some of the text of the message. 99.999% of the time you will find it is a scam.  The web used to be a good place. Today the only place on the web that isn't a scam is http://www.fuckmicrosoft.com/
Someone please remove this account. Thanks...

i got the same one a while ago.  It says two weeks, but the dates in all of the FW: fwd: fwd: FWD: etc etc, spanned three months.  I responded by sending the entire text of a "hoaxbuster" web page detailing the email to everone the email reader could lift out of the email.  After a few times of doing this (and for various virii) my friends and aquantances stopped sending them to me.
