Help with K3B

No support for ATAPI with cdrdao
You will not be able to use all your reading devices as copy sources since there is at least one not configured to use SCSI emulation and your system does not support ATAPI with cdrdao.
Solution: The best and recommended solution is to enable ide-scsi (SCSI emulation) for all writer devices. This way you won't have any problems.

How do I do that?

U'll need to re-configure the kernel and the bootloader...
Google can help you...  ;)

Basically, this happens because your CDR must be configured with SCSI emulation. I am surprised that this didn't happen during the installation procedure. Which distro are you using?

Pass hdX=ide-scsi to the kernel via your boot loader.

Yep, that should do it, but it also depends on the distro. Don't forget to replace the 'X' part with your device's letter :-D

Yea i should have pointed that out.

hda = Primary Master
hdb = Primary Slave
hdc = Secondary Master
hdd = Secondary Slave.

If you have a fast cdrom and a fast burner, when copying CD's you may want to put them on different channels as when there on the same channels you may create a great many coasters.
