cdrecord (with a tiny script that I manufactured) for burning ISO images.

xcdroast/cdrdao for creating music CDs.

kino/vcdxbuild/cdrdao for creating VCDs.
Someone please remove this account. Thanks...

i personally use K3B which is almost exactly like eazy-cd creater for windows. It has a setup program which you run as root and it goes through and configures it to work for everyone. Once that is done it is simple to create cd's. The only rea problems is that you have a choice of data cd's or music cd's. There are none of the fancy Vcd's yet in it.
you know its a bad day when you look more sober then usual

I couldnt get xcdroast to work for anything, but eroaster worked perfect, so it wins in my book. By the way guys, since all the gui cd burning programs use cdrecord to burn cd's, it wins by default.

defiantly cdrecord, but not only is it my favorite linux burning software, i think it would have to go for the whole of UNIX, maybe except for osx's built in burning
