Just curious. My friend and I are linux junkies and recently have fallen in love with the speed of Slackware over both Red Hat 8.0 and Mandrake 9.0 on our old ass pc's. The problem is that both Red Hat and Mandrake feature utilities that make doing things in linux a lot easier. Its not that we don't know how to do these things using the command line, but a nice graphical utility is indeed helpful sometimes in getting things done quickly and easily. So my question is whether it would be possible to use some of these utilities in Slackware somehow? Can you somehow take the SRPM and create a Make file and compile it on a Slackware system?
