Any other distros?
« on: 28 February 2002, 06:55 »
Well, now that I finally figured out how to make Linux work with my ethernet card, I'm surfing the internet with linux in a breeze (actually I'm using XP right now- I just got a new laptop and wanted to try it out). I realized eDesktop 2.4 is "old hat" by now, and I want to try a new distro.. Any suggestions?
Where did my signature go?

And once you figure out which one you want, this is the best place to get it: http://www.linuxiso.org (if you have a high speed connection that is).
Someone please remove this account. Thanks...

Well everyones common recommendation for distros seems to be Mandrake, stay away from that redhat stuff.  Install slackware if you got a pair.  just my opinion, but i rule.
