This is a pretty old article.
Right now the copyrights are registered by both SCO and Novell and SCO is suing Novell to settle the dispute.
The problem is a very badly written and ambiguous amendment to the original agreement. Each side claims it says somthing different.
I think Novell is in the right here, but it's going to be up to a Judge to interpret the amendment, so there is a possibility it could go either way.
