Install problems
« on: 25 June 2003, 05:16 »
I keep getting this error when attempmpting to install Linux (MDK 9.1, RH 9, Mandrake Network Firewall)

Code: [Select]

I can't even format the drive, I have tried to low level format it with the Seagate Tools disk, no luck, it keeps telling me the drive is fine  :(

anyone else run into this? I have also tried searching but to no avail, or maybe I was searching for the wrong thing.

TIA

My problem ended up being a bad stick of RAM, just in case someone else has/does run into this problem in the future  :D

Bad magic, I like that one.  ;)
Reminds me of "you dont exist."  From my Linux FAQ that is apparently an actual error message.
Yesterday it worked
Today it is not working
Windows is like that
