Two stories:

Gates justifies stronger chains for hardware manufacturers

Ballmer: DRM is your fluffy friend

Ok I admit, MS had me fooled. I thought they were just gonna lie down and die.  ;)

TheKnifeThrower:
How stupid is microsoft to beleive that people love anti piracy.

M$ has a 40 billion dollar cash position, give or take a billion.

The way to beat an advisary like that is to not look back.  I, for one, know that OSS is the better choice.  The next trick is to make a few bucks and the market will follow.

Once I edit a post can I delete this post?

I guess I will finish up for the week (I don't want to get sucked into ranting 24/7.)  I will check back once a week, for educational growth.

This is an excellent site!  To those who host it: thank you and keep up the good work.

I know this is a forum and contrary positions are encouraged.  I will not be responding to those who defend M$.  If that seems selfish and unenlightened, tough!

For those who are moving forward in OSS, I stress finding ways to make money on what you know.  I will be outlining my projects in the future.  This really is economic warfare. We're good at it and  there are more of us!

Don't believe the hype about M$ market share: half those people would change in a "New York minute" if they knew the full details.

Get em!
