Tux on FreeBSD
« on: 23 May 2003, 20:40 »
Has anyone actually done this with any success? I would like to run Tux, the apache accelerator on my freeBSD server. As far as I have known, its been a red hat thing, but I am sure it can by macgyvered into any apache install. Just wondering if anyone has done it before I go in and start screwing stuff up.

(edit: Heywood, I just edited the link, which now works.   ;)  )

Well, I have found out that tux is heavily dependnent on the (linux) kernel. So I am going to check out some static content accelerators that will work in BSD, and see what I can come up with.
