I'm very tired of this 'my mom could never use Linux' bullcrap, here is an average day for me in Linux:
1. Turn on the monitor and move the mouse (I don't turn off the PC).
2. Click the Konqueror icon on my desktop, visit Slashdot, Linux.org, some other stuff, check meh mail.
3. Start KSirc, talk/listen in freenode:#slicker/#xcalibur
4. Start up Kate and work on XCalibur/Calix (my two current projects).
5. Go to K->Internet->GAIM and talk to my newbie friends who haven't discovered IRC.
6. Pop in a music CD, Kscd starts automatically and plays my music.
7. Start up Limewire/GTK-Gnutella and look for some new bands
8. Whip out Konqueror again for some Google Image Searching (hehe)
9. Rinse and repeat.
Please. SOMEONE tell me SOMETHING that my mom can't do?
Oh btw, booting is simple. Chugs for about 20 seconds and then shows the KDM login window. I choose my username, enter meh password.
PS: finally im back on fms
