It won't autodetect and add another OS to the bootloader if that is what your are asking. I think you might be able to run the installer again and just do upgrade as opposed to install, don't select any packages, and then reinstall the bootloader. Maybe some other gurus here can validate my claim

all you need to do is edit /etc/grub/menu.lst

you DO NOT need to do anything else. you do not need to run any script or reinsall any bootloader.

for instructions about how to edit your menu.lst file, go here.

for example you might want to add this to it:
Code: [Select]
for a windows system on the first partition of the second hard drive.

Okay, i tried that, it just freezes, i also tried a few other variations of that i found on the web, i even went as far as starting from scratch on my first HD and had it do it for me, still it freezes.

I have my 2nd HD set as Slave and my First HD as Master, In my BIOS i have my first boot device floppy, then IDE 0. I switched IDE 1 with 0 and it will load Winshit 98 no prob, any other sudgestions?  all our welcome
