configuring wine
« on: 2 September 2002, 02:46 »
I've just found out that I can run certain windoze apps under Linux using wine (oh yes! fruityloops is one of them, so bye bye Bill!!)

I'm still a novice to this so there's a few things I'm trying to work out. (I brought the book 'Linux for Dummies' but it don't help much.

I've just downloaded WINE (unstripped RPM form)and it's asking me to edit the wine config to match my own system. Nothing in the book is giving me much of a clue as to what variables I have to set to match.

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks
