Crummy looking fonts (almost done, I swear)
« on: 30 July 2003, 04:36 »
Really, I'm almost finished with my initial blast of questions   ;)  For anyone who's wondering, I AM looking into this stuff before posting it, lol.

I've tried explaining this before to try to get it fixed and it always proves that a picture is worth a thousand words... I noticed there's some sort of taboo on screen shots and links here (anyone care to explain that, also?) but I think this is the best way to show it. This URL below shows what I see when I open mozilla and go to www.microsuck.com.

(notice that pictures are nice and clear although fonts [especially small ones] look like crap)

(Info: Redhat 8 with KDE 3, kernel 2.4.20-19.8, video card 32MB ATI Radeon VE QY. It's not listed in Redhat's hardware list, I know, but it seems to work fine. Anti-aliasing is enabled.)

sorry if you have any difficulty getting at that, tripod's being a jerk for some reason (replacing my picture with "Image hosted by tripod (R)". what the hell is that??) It's there, though...

Edit: going to "view source" and then setting the view to full screen works ok
