Is the the official one where you have to buy the Linux version, or can you play this on Linux when you already bought the Windows version?

Well you have to install the game on a windows pc(or in my case winex) then copy all the files unlocked by the windows installer and into directories you create on linux. Then you run the installer. The windows factor sucks, but believe me the game runs twice as fast in Native Linux as compared to under WineX.
