I have recently bought a Palm m515,

Is it possible to sync with Linux RedHat 8

I just did a Google search and found a piece a guy wrote and he said he just plugged it in and had no problems syncing with Evolution under Red Hat 8.0:

He didn't mention which Palm he had in the Red Hat piece but later on down he mentions his m515 so I assume that is the one he used.
