modem
« on: 12 October 2002, 10:45 »
i have a fairly common problem. My modem won't work. But unlike most people that run into this problem I know my modem will work in linux. The book makes no references to windows at all. (wow) It describes all of the commands and such that the modem needs and returns. But it says it runs on comm2. I've read through all of /dev and the only thing close i found was /dev/ircomm2 which didn't work. Anybody know what i'd have to do to get this going?
