mandrake is a virus??

wtf. i just installed mandrake 9 on this old ass machine. i didnt do anything to the bios. after install, i start to boot, and trend-chip away says that mandrake is a virus and i should get rid of it immediately. dumb...
i did let me continue to boot up though.

This is because Mandrake modified the MBR, a practive done by some viruses. You're safe to ignore it--ideally, I'd check with your AV software to disable MBR protection.
