No surprises here. For 3 reasons:

1. When NEW computer users start learning to use computers they will adapt to whatever is presented to them quite easily. The issue here isn't adaptation when migrating, because that can be hard for those who've been using a system for a decade or so.

2. Consumers want to use what the government uses. That's always what happens. A new idea/product is invented -> used/studied at universities -> adopted by governments -> adopted by the educated/smart public -> brought to mainstream consumers -> eventually becomes obsoletel and is tossed in the trash as new/better products are introduced.

Linux has greatly surpassed the government stage and is now in stage 4. Windows is currently struggling to get out of the last stage. But that won't happen.
