Audio software for linux/unix etc ???
« on: 6 March 2002, 05:45 »
Hi All
Does anyone out there do any serious Audio work on anything like UNNIX, Linux or FreeBSD ?
I would like to ditch XP and use something like this but am afraid I won't be able to get the software I need.
I use VST instruments in Emagic audio Logic a lot at the moment, as well as Soundforge for wave editing.
Help !

well unfortuntely audio and studio stuff isnt something i have dabbled with.  ut if the film and music industry is moving over to linux solutions then there is bound to be something.  Check out www.freshmeat.net and see what audio application they have for you and your needs.
If ignorance is bliss, why aren't there more happy people?
