There's nothing to work around. Linux will work the same as it always did on the new VPC. They just removed Linux from the list of templates for virtual pc's. But you can still select "Other OS" and install whatever you want.

Bleh, it was new news to me. My bad. ;P


I was under the impression that the removal of Linux support meant that it won't run nativley in Linux anymore. I don't really see how an accurate x86 emulator could break compatibility with any x86 OS that you would run on it.

Which means that M$ is obvioulsy going out if it's way to be anti-competative.

This would be the equivilant of building a car that only uses M$ fule, even though it should perfectly capable of using other fules.
