Linux Walkthough

I get really tired of having to always repeat the whole process of installing Linux on a Windows PC over and over again. Anyone have a link to some kinda of walkthough that I can link people to?

(sorry if this topic has been brought up before)

The Linux Documentation Project should have something...  I'll have a quick browse through my how to's :).

edit : yep, found three that may be useful.
The Linux Installation HOWTO (by ESR no less)
GNU/Linux Post-Installation Checklist (by "algologic solutions???")
GNU/Linux pre-installation checklist (see above)

I say the installation howto would be most useful, especially if someone were to "trim it" a little into a smaller piece.  The pre and post installation ones aren't so useful, but from the pre installation check it would maybe be good to have our faq tell them to try Knoppix to see if their hardware works.  (If they have that bandwidth...)
