Running Linux off of second HD

Would it be easy to run Linux and Windows XP on two 40GB hard drives? The master would have one NTFS partition with WinXP on it and the slave having a couple of NTFS or Fat32 partitions and a Linux partition. Is this easy to set up?

yes very easy, install windows first and leave about 20 gigs or so on the other harddrive. formate the first 60 gigs however you want. then on the 20 gigs left install say mandrake 8.2 or redhat 7.3. follow the partitioning instruction within redhat or mandrake and you should be able to daul boot. just remember to use grub as the main boot loader. it can boot just about anything including linux /*obviosly*/ and windows. i hope that this helped

Grub? So this is a boot program that runs before anything else on your computer when installed?
