well i got the live eval working with minimal sweat. the only hangup was the monitor not being detected, fumbled around and found the right buttons to push.
right now im in information overload. there are so many things that can be done. the first things i do when installing any os is configure it to me, well there are so many different resources i get lost, as for stablilty, well it feels like im sitting on the ground instead of balancing a pole with one foot in the air.
i do have a dependeance to billblows still but im on my way to changing my nick to linux user *************.
oh on a side note i saw a program on tech tv. called the screensavers. it was an ok show about comps and crap. what was cool about it was they never praised m$  and one guy wore a shirt that said  "got root?"  and the other host had the linux penguin on his coffee mug.

You know what's funny? I'm wearing the "got root?" t-shirt right now.            I used to like the Screen Savers before Paul Allen (cofounder of Microsoft) bought them out. It was called zdtv (Ziff Davis) before techtv. They used to have at least half the show dedicated to Linux. Now they do little more than show you how to navigate around Microsoft Word. Now I have the channel locked out of my TV.

Regarding SuSe Live. You might want to download and try Knoppix. It also runs from CD but packs in a lot more stuff. Really slick CD.

You can get the "got root?" and many other cool T-Shirts here:

In fact if this guy was a little older and a little thinner it could have been a picture of me at work.
