the drive is firewire. FTP worked, i was able to access my mac from windoze xpee. What i would like to do now is setup my mac with two NICs. i want one to have the dsl connection, and the other one to connect to all the other computers. I put the ethernet card in and the mac will not see it. Am i missing something, i went to network utility and all it sees is ETH0, i installed the latest driver and still nothing. Can i even put two NICs in? I looked all over the internet to no avail, not a thing about installing two cards. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I seem to recall there being issues with FireWire as network and startup drives. You may want to check the Apple sight for info on this.

However, if you are running Jaguare, I think such issues would have beem resolved.

Anyone?
