Can't shake a stick at it? I wouldn't even touch Windows with a 10-foot pole, let alone shake a stick at it.   :D

ya it can. Mac OS was better than Windows 9x.

And that's saying a LOT; Windows 9x theoretically had a more advanced architecture than Mac OS, with protected memory and preemptive multitasking, but it was so crappy that it was actually LESS stable than the ageing Mac OS with cooperative multitasking and no protected memory.
