OpenOffice for Quartz

Anyone else noticed this? They've got it up and running.

Requirements

    * The fastest machine you can find. It'd be good if it had memory, too.
    * OS X 10.1.x. These instructions have been verified on 10.1.3.
    * December 2001 Development Tools for OS X.
    * approx. 4 GB free HD space for a non-debug build. Source directory: 2.73 GB, setup directory: 104 MB, install directory: 224 MB. For a full debug build, roughly increase the space requirements by 2.5 times.
    * A few cases of beer used to pass the time. On a TiBook 400 the build took about two continuous days.

OH my fucking god Full debug build is 10 GB for an office suite. I'm thinking that they are working on making it a little smaller.
And they might want to work on build time too two days on a TiBook 400 (Damn)

To have a look at the build status go toPort status and have a look.

I know its still in Extreme Alpha but damn 10 Gb.

and it kicks msoffice's ass, everybody i show it likes it, es
iacially when i fire up the presentation program, im gonna have to install mplayer on it though, i think that would nock there socks of in school, a divx player that actally works on the 266mhz thinkpad/*then agian its "loaded" with 192 megs of ram, and im gonna max it out later with 284 i think*/ and the fact that i can optimize for i686 on it instead of just i585 on my main box. though, if i could only convince the school to use open office, im going to have to push this solution to the dragon lady/*i think smoking more then one pack of cigeretts a day would qualify, dont you*/ she might like it to cut costs so she could smoke more, i dont' know, the only thing i do know is that it indead kicks microsofts ass, and sorry for this rant, im writing it from like on ChaosNETOS v1.0 "curtains" try 3/*gave up on rc's, after about two complete rebuilds owell
id rather be on fire then use windoze
