Apple Switch Ads - Not very good...

<< < (2/3) > >>

hm_murdock:
I think that while getting the morons to switch, you might also end up with some of the same problems you do with windoze.

Just think...

If Mac OS becomes a much more dominant platform, you'll have to welcome all those guys who write shitty ass windoze software that all have god awful interfaces that are made different for the sake of marketing, and are unstable because the programmer is simply incompetent... those guys will start writing Mac software.

ehh. we gotta put up with it.

I thought I was dating Jane moron, and after a few dates, she says "We're just friends".

cahult:
But...who is dating Joe Moron then? Certainly not me!  :D

I also agree that the Apple's "Switch" ad campaign is mostly targeted to mainstream Windows users and as such it should be plain and simple.

We shouldn't also forget the fact that the specific ad, according to Jobs, has been very succesful so far.

However, the fact that it was and continues to be succesful, does not make it a smart one. On the contrary, I find it a bit idiotic, but then again that is my opinion.    :D

I think it's great how they get some famous people to do those, like the Tony Hawk one and the new Mini Me one. A lot of the people I associate with are tony hawk fans and also happen to be windows users, so that's good.
