Mac alternatives to Winzip
« on: 17 April 2003, 10:57 »
I'm hoping to get into some skin editing for a game soon, and I have all the necessary tools except Winzip. Is there a Mac version of this or are there some good cheap, freeware, or shareware alternatives to it? I recall using a program about five years ago to edit a simple game's graphics, but its probably out of date and I forgot the name. That would be great if anyone can help me.

well it looks as though stuffit will do the job, if not do look through that link since there are a lot of likely looking pkzip clones for the macintosh.

I agree. Stuffit Expander will definitely do the job.   ;)

I just wasn't sure exactly what type of program Winzip was.
